Seit 1980 sind wir als gemeinnütziger, unabhängiger und selbstverwalteter Verein in der (internationalen) politischen Bildungsarbeit aktiv. Gemeinsam mit unseren lokalen und internationalen Partner*innen und mit der Unterstützung unserer Förder*innen und mit Hilfe unserer Netzwerke konzipieren und realisieren wirJugendprojekte und Fortbildungen für Multiplikator*innen. Als anerkannter Träger der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe ist die Arbeit mit sogenannten benachteiligten Jugendlichen ein Schwerpunkt unserer Arbeit.

Zu den Kompetenzen der Mitglieder gehören neben interkultureller und politischer Bildungsarbeit auch Dolmetschen in verschiedenen Sprachen, Projektberatung und Coaching im Rahmen von Bildungsprozessen. In der Balance zwischen konzeptioneller wissenschaftlicher und praktischer Arbeit bringen wir Ansätze aus verschiedenen Bereichen zusammen, um so gemeinsam neue Perspektiven für die (internationale) Bildungsarbeit zu entwickeln und aufzuzeigen.

Themen unserer Jugendbegegnungen und Fortbildungen sind u.a. Menschenrechte, Migration, Berufsorientierung, Teamentwicklung, interkulturelles Lernen, konstruktive Konfliktbearbeitung, Partizipation, Diskriminierung, Natur- und Umweltbildung, alternative Mobilität, Gender oder schwul-lesbisch-queer.

In unseren Projekten setzen wir interaktive und kreative Methoden wie Theater, Film, Fotografie, Erlebnispädagogik, Natur- und Umweltpädagogik, Sprachanimation, Tanz oder Musik ein.
